The City of Riverside’s Police Department is seeking an intern to join their team. Please see the description below of the position.
Forensic Evidence Unit and Economic Crimes Unit Intern
Intern will assist detectives by preparing basic spreadsheets and report forms. The Intern will return phone calls to the public and provide or acquire information as needed.
Work To Be Performed:
Work on computer database programs like Excel, Word, and Access to input data. Answer telephones and be able to relay messages and requests to appropriate personnel. Intern must be able to listen and follow verbal and written instructions.
- When assigned to the Forensic Evidence Unit the intern will assist with logistics concerning Department photographs, fingerprint files and digital media.
- When assigned to the Economic Crime Unit the intern will help sort and catalog economic crime related materials.
Education: At least a High School Diploma.
Experience: Entry Level – no experience required
Age: Minimum age of eighteen
